Hosted on 15 February 2019, by MUSE and Wharton Retail Club, the 15th annual Marketing, Advertising, and Retail Conference provides undergraduate students with an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents through networking events and to learn more about professional opportunities in the marketing industry.
This year's sponsors included: BCG, Macy's, Google, and Dick's Sporting Goods. During the roundtables, students had a chance to have thought-provoking conversations with representatives from each company. Further, students got a chance to learn from a data analytics panel featuring alumni from Google and Macy's, and moderated by Wharton's Professor of Marketing, Peter Fader. Finally, the event was concluded by the keynote speaker, Lauren Hobart, the president of Dick's sporting goods, who discussed in detail, the new age of retail: "Retail 2.0."
